Wow, now thats a deal. They are still 226 at newegg. I would imagine retailers will eventually need to clear the stock of these.

Its because microcenter is finally trying to flush all the old b3 junk they cant sell due to the new xx50 chips. I paid 220 for the e6600 i had before my quad, luckily i was able to return it for my quad

It is definitely a nice CPU. Paid about $250 [I think] for the CPU and a motherboard.
