| Hi guys, im back again ![]() I had 2x512mb's (DDR333) running at 166mhz Today i changed them to 2x1gb's (DDR400) running at 200mhz The problem is that although my motherboard has recognized the RAM and its size (2GB) they are still running at 166mhz. ![]() Also in my BIOS my RAM was recognized as DDR333 ![]() Im 100% sure that my motherboard supports DDR400 Why is this? Do i have to change any settings? I wen to my BIOS and couldnt see any option to change this I was told there might be a jumper on the motherboard to change the speed to 200? Where is this? Thanks UPDATE : I have tried breaking the dual mode by installing 1 ram in each colour but still my ram run at 166mhz Here is a link to my motherboard : 939Dual-SATA2 And a link to its manual : http://www.asrock.com/Drivers/Manual/939Dual-SATA2.pdf Last edited by AntonOle; 05-16-2007 at 06:38 AM. |

| Renowned Budgeting Master | He had to change the memory divider most likely since it was stuck on DDR-333 speed still probably.
