Help building a gaming computer - Page 2

Okay switched motherboard and DVD Writer, but the reason I decided on the Athlon X2 3800 over the Opteron is because after looking at AMD's site it seemed that the opteron was geared towards servers and networking, and the X2 was geared more towards gaming. I'm just getting my feet wet in this whole hobby or whatever you want to call it so I'm sorry if it's a stupid question. But thanks for the help.
