Need a good pair for gaming and audio. Links or ideas would be excellent. Thanks

Sony MDR-XD400. Best sound for gaming headphones in that pricegange I have ever heard.

EDIT:
You made a very bad choice. 5.1 headphones suck, they have the cheapest drivers possible. RMA them for a refund as soon as you get them. Head over to head-fi.org to ask the real headphone junkies/audiophiles what would be the best headphones for your pricerange, my vote is to the MDR-XD400.

Those will suck for gaming, but if their the best headphones you've ever owned, then I guess they are alright. If you really want some nice headphones, get the Grado SR-225. They are about $200, but you would not regret it. Here is where I got my MDRXD400:

$67, free shipping, no tax.

I've heard bad, bad things about the vibrating bass. I'd stay away from it.

The XD400 has REALLY nice bass, beats anything else in its pricerange for bass, except for the grado sr-80 maabey, but those arn't gaming phones.
