Default hd question??

i ahve an 80gb hdd right now and i have a 5gb sitting around and i wanna hook them togher and put my swap file on the 5gb and maybe even my cookies folder .. is there anyway i could do this nd know that my swap file is on the 5gb?? ..in pc woulrd they said if you swap file is on another hdd it makes your comp faster .. is this true?? srry bout spelling/grammar

It's true, but not when using a 5GB disk 'cause it will be old and slow. (Unless it's an SCSI disk maybe).
