| if your going to be playign crysis you should be looking at the 9800gtx+ from what ive seen so far my 8800gts over clocked is keeping up witth 4870, sometimes outpacing it even from what ive seen i 100% beat the 4850 as it gets 44fps in crysi and i get abotu 50 @ high settings 1280x1024. but for cod the ati cards are going to do better as the call of duty engine doesnt have a bias towards a certain company alltho sli does flurish in it. so if crysis is your game go nvidia if yoru gonna be into cod4 more go ati but from what some mebers have said teh multiplayer in warhead has made them leave call of duty4. so you migh wana try these ames see which u prefer before buying. |

| theres no way an 8800 512 surpasses a 4870. i have them both. did you mean a 4850? hd 4850 will rock COD4. i dont play crysis, but i would suppose that at mid-resolution you would be okay.

| yes, it will. the 4850 and the 9800 are about on equal footing. there are trade-offs: the 9800 will overclock higher and perform better at that overclock than a 4850. the kicker is, the 4850 performs better with AA turned on (even at a lower clock). i say 4850.

| I really find that hard o believe, if ti has happened then it would be wise to take the full system into account because something is helping it go further. Crysis is optimized for Nvidia but not THAT optimized. |
