Hd 4850 vs 9800 gtx+? Ur opinion?

Hi,
im lookin to buy a new graphics card for my new pc. My budget is around $210. I cant decide between hd4850 and nvidia's 9800gtx+. Which in ur opinion is better performing n future proof? Ur sgestions will be very much apreciated.

It depends on which games you'll be playing, assuming you'll be gaming. 4850 is faster on some games and 9800 is faster on others.

I had the same dilemma, as stated above the 4850 is slightly better....but I ended up going with the 9800gtx+ because I only play games occasionally and I fold most days of the weeks. The 9800 gets better ppd for F@H than the 4850.

If you dont fold....4850 is a nice card.

Ya.. I don't think its a good idea to trade with a complete new guy because then you can't do anything if he scams the 9800GTX's from him
