Default hardware performance

hi guys, i have an AMD barton 3000 with a PNY Verto fx 5900, win XP, and 768 DDR 2100 ram
i have recently replaced my old vid card ( FX 5700) and there is no real FPS improvement in Battlefield 2, CS:S
i was wondering if this because my CPU is holding back the graphics card or i need more ram

i know the 5900 is not a huge improvement, but it is 256 bit vs. 128 bit and it should be smoother than the 5700
so what are your thoughts

Depends on your mobo, seems like the PC2100 ram is slowing you down. The CPU will not be holding back your FX5900.

got an Abit va-20 my memory is made up of 256 running at 2100 and 512 that can go 3200
so therefore i have to run at 2100 to get 768

is 3200 that much better than 2100?
