Default hardrive problem

hy i was just wandering whether or not you could have a sata drive and a ide drive together because when i tried it was in bios but not in computer in start on vista

I don't really understand your question compeletly, but I have an 80 gig IDE drive (for music), and a 250 sata, and they both work fine.

i also have an 80GB IDE and a 320GB Sata drive working fine together.

yeah i seen many people with that combo. should be fine just make sure boot device is set to the right HDD.

Depends, you can either delete the partitions (heh i typed petition) and either repartition when installing the OS or if its just a data drive, once inside windows you can just format the drive you want to wipe.
