| Monster Techie | I'm going to build a new rig soon and i havent decided what hdds to get, i'll mainly use this computer for gaming. i want a lot of memory.

| no need for scsi or raptor HDDs. Just settle with some sata hdds. I like seagate as they are very silent, and good quality.

| Monster Techie | what is the point of have a raptor 74gb 10k rpm and a more memory less rpm hdd?

| raptor has same 8mb cash as other sata hdds. The 10k rpm just makes it faster. Itl open, load stuff faster than a 7200 or 5400 rpm HDD. (like loading maps for games for example)
