with the new graphic card coming out and all, my friend is sellin his evga 9800gtx to me for 230!!!

is it worth it? should i wait or should i buy the 9800gtx...man this is harDD!!! blah!

I agree with Aspire. Since the brand is EVGA, that is a humongous deal! If you take up his offer on that, you can wait to see how the new cards run, and wait for price drops. Then in the future if you feel you need more power for the newer games, you can upgrade then and save some money.

Plus if he still has the original receipt and it hasn't been very long, it could still meet the step-up requirements... but if he is selling it, it's probably getting close to the end of the 90 day period.

the new GT200 will be around $450 and $600 when they are released

sure there is.. i did, to a q6700.. and there's even q9450's, qx6800 qx6850 and qx9650... there's plenty to go up with.. some people.. like me... are just never satisfied and are willing to pay large sums of money.. for very marginal difference
