I am planning to get a video card on Boxing Day Sales so i can get them for even cheaper.

order one online mehn, buying a video card from a place like Best Buy on Boxing Day is like buying a video card online at regular price, lol, or you can even wait until boxing day specials on an online e-tailer, like Newegg.


Although, I have to admit, I have been surprised before. Future Shop ( = Best Buy Canada, although we also have Best Buy here, both are owned by the same company ) sometimes has great deals that pop out of nowhere and are surprisingly fair. Usually they have stupid prices for video cards, like an 8500GT for $149.99, but once in a while they'll put a price just as good as you would see online. They have an 8800GT on special sale (min 1 per store) for $259.99, and on top of it, it's eVGA, not a dumbarse brand like Foxconn or XFX

there is nothing wrong with foxconn... they make some of the most quality brand motherboards

I don't like anything else they make and I've never really had any experience with a Foxconn mobo except my old P2/Rage rig, and it was ok

yup it says you got a pci e-16 slot.. so yes, that would work just fine

and i thought you had an athlon.. that is clearly a pentium 4...

That pentium 4 takes around 100 watts on the 12v's and an 8800GT takes around 115 or so...add up everything and i guess you could run everything1 25 amps is the absolute minimum I would go for and your looking more for 28+.
