Default Graphics Card Temp

I have a XFX 7600GT its not overclocked or anything im curious what a good idling temp should be.

dont worry more as you want to worry about max load.

Max load i would guess under 60

Can the 7600gt's overclock well or no? Also what some good programs to overclock it? Thanks

7600GTs are pretty overclockable. I got my bro's to 630/1700. I used ATI Tool to overclock. And I agree with Sora. As long as it's under 60C, you're good. But I think they can handle more. Like up to 70C.

I was just taking a guess as my 7900GS runs around 56.

The 7 series can hit well in the 70's and be fine while the 8 series can hit in the 80's

also yes the 7600GT's overclock pretty well

Ok so ATI tool now do i just adjust settings and go or what? Bare with me im totally new to the overclocking.

keep increasing the core until you see artifacts in the scan for artifacts.

How do i find the max core? Just keep upping the core until it shuts down or what?
