So, my question is this. With the setup that I have, which EVGA video card/cards should I get? I don't want any "this is cheaper" stuff, I can spend like...~400/500 on 1, or on 2... Im looking for highest FPS...Ive read bunches of reviews and am going in circles. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You. Also, im not interested in products coming out in like a month or 2. |

| I have an evga GX2 for sale. Essentially brand new, had a little bit of benchmarking with it, but i just dont need 2. Quad SLI is overkill for what i play.

| From what i have read your best bet would be to go with the 9800gtx. It is under $400 and with the motherboard you have you can upgrade later. Get 1 now, down the road you could add another 9800gtx for sli, and down the road from that you could add a third for tri. By it's self the 9800gtx is a really good card, in bench mark tests it comes close to the 9800gx2. Two 9800GTX hooked up in sli is a lot faster than 1 9800gx2. The reason you are getting confused from the reviews you are reading is that they were all wrote at different times. In May of 2007 the absolute best card out was not the best card in July of 2007.

| I think you should get just 1 or even 2 8800GTS with $400. Two 8800GTS will outperform a single 9800GTX Get an eVGA to step-up when newer cards are coming out because the 9800GTX is like $100 extra and the 9800GTX is just an overclock of 8800GTS and with 1 8800GTS u will be able to play any game in high settings except Crysis Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!
