| ok heres my specss, amd 3400, ati 9800 pro 128, i gig ocz. i just recently got black and white 2, i found it odd that i could run doom 3 on high without a hitch but have to run baw on low, anyways i want to upgrade my graphics card i got about 200 bucks and was told a 6600 gt is better then my current card. should i go with this or something else to hold me over untill i have the money for a new rig. |

| FDISK Certified | 6600GT is a great card. I would get that and save up for a DX10 card when they come out.

| there isint going to be a dx10. it will be called something different. i dont think i will like dx10, because microsft is trying to kill off opengl by having it emulated in windows vista and limited to version 1.1, severely limiting flexibility and preformance. and if you decide you dont like that and install the latest forceware to override the windows driver, then you cant have the areoglass interface special effects.
