Is this good enough for the new gen?

Ok atm i got a old pc and i am going to upgrade it, this is what it will look like:

Mainboard : Asus P4B533-V
Chipset :Intel i845G
Processor : Intel Pentium 4 @ 2400 MHz
Physical Memory : 1536 MB (1 x 1GB, 2 x 256MB DDR-SDRAM PC2700, 333Mhz, CL 2.5 )
Video Card : XFX GeForce 6800 Extreme 256MB GDDR3
Hard Disk : Western Digital (120 GB)
DVD-Rom Drive : HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8161B
CD-Rom Drive : LITE-ON LTR-48125S
Monitor Type : LG FLATRON LCD 782LE (17inc)
Network Card : Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL (ICH4/ICH4-L) PRO/100 VE Network Connection
Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition 5.01.2600 Service Pack 2
DirectX : Version 9.0c (March 2005)

Will this be enough to run games like Battlefield 2 and future games like Unreal Tournament???
Please dont advise me on new hardware, i just want the rensurence that it will run the games well.

could do with a better CPU, but it's descent otherwise

yep but for me its too much of a hastle to replace the cpu, looks complicated and is very expensive lol, thanks for the reply

it's not hard:

take off the heatsink
pull up lever
take out old CPU
put in new CPU
push down lever
put on the heatsink

Ok, seeing my hardware, what sort can i get???? What would you recomend??? Keep in mind that I have a low budget please.

your motherboard can run up to a 533MHZ FSB, so that means you can get up to a Pentium 4 3.06GHZ CPU (that has a 533FSB)

Im is celeron D any good or shall i get the Intel Pentium 4 LGA775???
I cant get AMD right cos i need a amd motherboard???

LGA775 is a completely different socket. your motherboard doesn't support it.

I would NOT recommend getting a celeron if you want to play games.
