| Re: Good bye AMD.. hello Intel? tracers have led's on them. and the two mobo's you selected are the same
i plan on this mobo, but the ds3l is a quality board, just not as hefty on the ocing features. Newegg.com - DFI LANPARTY DK P35-T2RS LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

I have the tracers you posted and they work fine, ~850 MHZ @ 4-4-4-12
LEDS light up beautifully, especially when under load
the regular ballistix are 30 bucks with the MIR though... just get that

| Re: Good bye AMD.. hello Intel? Ok I plan on running a max of 4G, would 2x 2G be better or worse than 4x 1G?
which would handle OCing better?

| Re: Good bye AMD.. hello Intel? I'd say its relatively similar, probably no noticable difference at all... ask for a second opinion though
I'd definitely say 2x2 would be better because of less heat (4 sticks generate more heat then 2 does) although if you go with tracers, 4 sticks = 4x the leds

| Re: Good bye AMD.. hello Intel? i would get tracers if your case has a window
otherwise i'd just get a regular pair of ballistix
also i didn't get a MIR with mine :/

| Re: Good bye AMD.. hello Intel? haha, well with my current case I cant see inside, but Im thinking of getting a new full tower case when I upgrade, but I have to look more and find one i like
so 2x 2G of Crucial Ballistix would be my best bet?
