Asus p4s800D-X Motherboard,
Intel pentium 4 3.2GHz processor,
xfx geforce 6600 256 mb ddr,
1gb of ram, 300gb hard drive,
Raidmax scorpio green case or Raidmax Ninja

What brands are the RAM and the hard drive.

1) Go with AMD for gaming. AMD > Intel for gaming
2) Get either a Seagate or Western Digital hard drive. They are more reliable
3) Get some corsair valueselect if you want cheapo RAM.
4) You should get a new PSU.

How about you replace that processor with a Athalon 3000+ or 3200+, and replace the vid card with a 6800GS. Go with the brands mentioned above for the hdd. Ive never had a problem with Maxtor drives either.

I sort of agree save up more money by then the new Processors and G80 will be released.


Alternativly you can go to the low end PC building forum for help on building a low end PC.
