LEDs are over rated, out dated, and tacky, in my opinion :-P Get yourself some Medium (or high I guess) speed Yate Loons, they're fast and they do the job

I'm not too picky on fans and noise only tells me it's working and working strong, so yeah. :-P

LED's are fun to look at.

Get this:
BGears b-COOL120 120mm Temperature & Speed Monitoring Fan w/ LED Readout - FrozenCPU.com

Now you can't be sure how accurate that will be.

for high performance get this:
Newegg.com - AeroCool XtremeTurbine-Black 120mm Case Fan - Retail

whatever you do don't get this:
Newegg.com - APEVIA CF12SL-UBL 120mm Blue LED Case Fan - Retail

It's one of the best rated fans on newegg, even though it's apevia I took a chance and it SUCKED, loud ugly and pushed almost nothing.

I have these ones:
Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER R4-L2S-122B-GP 120mm 4 BLUE LED LED Case Fan - Retail

They don't push as much air as most, but they're only 19.3dBA
Usually you'll only find 21-24dBA fans

the way sound is measured, the difference between 21 and 19dBA is actually quite significant.

i'd just get a Yate Loon fan for the side panel. you dont need the extra fan inside that you can add on.

Well, do you want lots of air or no noise?

Yes, I was going to recommend these! Apokalipse has them, and they're only running at 19dBA so that's pretty quiet compared to most other 120mm fans.

Here is some food for thought:

If the computer is in your room, and on at night, some quiet, non led fans are AWESOME!!!! I wish that I didnt get led fans, because it lights up my room at night.

so if you use it at night in your room, and light is a factor, then get just normal fans.

but if its used at parties, and stuff where it needs to look cool, get led fans.

If you want lights, just get some Cold Cathode 12" tubes. blue is the brightest

I regret the green led fan in my comp. because it is right next to my bed and I can't turn it off like with the cathodes.
