Ive decided im going to take out the 4850 and get the HIS 4890 instead....

actually, xfire 4850's outperform a single 4890, but then again, if you get a 4890 now, you can xfire two of those beasts later down the road

Even crossfired 4770s beat the 4890. The cool thing about the 4890 is the overclocking capabilities, plus the option to crossfire them later.

I was planning on X-firing the 4890's in about a month or so. I cant wait!

The NVidia PhysX is used in so few games right now anyway. Maybe in the near future it will be more widely implemented. The big nvidia feature many people like is CUDA. Not sure if it's something you're interested in.

Go for another 512 4850. Will be plenty of power and memory for most games right now.

cuda is going to be developed for ATI cards as well i think, good choice on the 4890.

I'm waiting for CUDA to use C++ and come out for ATI, I'm not a fan of NVidea. Thanks for the input, I'm still going with the 4890's I'll let you know how they turn out.

Why not corssfire the 4850 and 4890 before you grab a second 4890?
