But yes I'd take HD 4870's over GTX 260's because even though GTX 260's have Ageia support, and HD 4870's have Havok, with HD 4870's you can use a good Intel P35/P45/X38/X48 board over an nVidia chipset

I think any sane person would due to a cheaper price (isn't it $100 less?), better performance across the board with single gpu's, and better performance in crossfire. But hey, do what you want.
