Default Gaming Notebook

So I am thinking of selling my current desktop gaming system to trade for a gaming notebook. Okay so I want AMD Athlon 64bit, or Turion possibly. I also want an nVidia GeForce 6800GT GO so I can have a superb gaming experience. I am having trouble finding something like this.

Would I be better off keeping my current system and upgrading that to 64bit (venice core) w/a 6800GT?

well do you have to have the AMD turion? the Dell XPS gen 2 is a very good gaming pc but it has a pentium M but i read at anand tech that the pentium M still beats the turion performance wise, so if you dont mind the processor i think the dell would be good.

Oh, no. No, no, no... Gaming and Laptop are conflicting words. There is no reason to trade your machine for a desktop, and especially not a dell. Build your own mid-tower AMD Athlon 64 machine. It's opinion, but I don't think it for no reason.
