| Searching for HDD's that would be best for gaming..iv heard 2, 10,000 RPM in RAID would be best and iv also heard 16mb Cache is what i should get. Now, i know i cant get a HDD with 16mb Cache and 10,000 spin so what should i be looking for? Should i look for higher Cache or faster spin? |

| I dont think you need a better HDD. Faster RPM makes the HDD faster but not enough to really make a HUGE difference in performence. Cache, umm I'm not sure that would help much either.

| A 10000RPM 8mb drive would probably outpreform a 7200RPM 16mb drive. besides, to use all 16mb, you would need a very big hard drive, probably 250GB or bigger, and the biggest 10000rpm hard drive on newegg is 74gb.
