Gaming HDD's...Cache or RPM speed?

Searching for HDD's that would be best for gaming..iv heard 2, 10,000 RPM in RAID would be best and iv also heard 16mb Cache is what i should get. Now, i know i cant get a HDD with 16mb Cache and 10,000 spin so what should i be looking for? Should i look for higher Cache or faster spin?

how about there is no such thing a gaming hd is too danm slow to make a diff. just dont get anything below 7200 i believe or whatever it is.

I dont think you need a better HDD. Faster RPM makes the HDD faster but not enough to really make a HUGE difference in performence. Cache, umm I'm not sure that would help much either.

A 10000RPM 8mb drive would probably outpreform a 7200RPM 16mb drive. besides, to use all 16mb, you would need a very big hard drive, probably 250GB or bigger, and the biggest 10000rpm hard drive on newegg is 74gb.
