hey i was just wondering if the new gskill hk's are just as goo as the old ones overclocking wise or would it be better to stay with the old ones?

From what I heard, the HZ, HK, NQ, and NRs.....are all good for overclocking. With HZs being the best.

i was tol hz's best then following the hk's. but they hz are alot more expensive.

The Hk's and HZ's will overclock very similar. The NR's will overclock past 1000mhz. I have had mine at 1150mhz.

I love g skill ram, not sure which i have, their black ddr2 800. hz's i think but not sure.

As stated...the HK's and HZ's will reach the same performance except the HK's will require about .5 more volts to reach them which isn't a problem. The HK's are a great deal.
