| I'm bored so I am making this thread. The idea is to list all the brands that you think have a lot of fanboys on tech forums, even if the fanboys are fanboys not for a good reason, but "just because". I will list the ones I have in mind after some other people go first, I want to see if my thought are pretty much in line. ![]()

| Ultra Techie | AMD obviously has fanboys as anyone can see at this point in time.. Logitech, but for good reason - they make quality products (from my system, I have the z-5500's, mx510, and nice slim keyboard, all worth the money) Then you've got ATI/Nvidia, Corsair, Zalman.

| Yeah alot of people seem to walk in wantig to pay more for AMD rather than C2D. But we're pretty good at pointing them in the right direction. Don't hesitate to call me a Dominator fanboy. I'm not going to lie, I think my ego made me get those because they looked pretty lol. But they work, so it can't be that bad.

| Ultra Techie | Don't forget g.skill (i love my g.skill d9 chips). Then you've got motherboard companys....i like asus but im not a fanboy (been thinking about getting a evga 680i). There's ati/nvidia of course but some ppl like to stick with the different companies that produce the graphics cards. I try to stick with evga and xfx for nvidia, and i try to stick with sapphire and ati for ati graphics cards (asus seems to make good gpus too, but ive never owned one of their graphics cards). AMD prob holds most of the fanboys still, but the conroes are slowing changing some of them. But im not a fanboy to either company, im just saying most of the amd fanboys are seeing that intel can make some nice processors for games too.

| well pretty much every part of a computer some favors one over the other i like Seagate but i also have 2 maxtors and a western digital in my rig i prefer antec and pc power and cooling for psus as they both have never givin me trouble in the past. and i like MSI but i really don't care whenever i build a new rig i am going to pick out the best bang for the buck parts no matter what brand name they have. i am an acer fan though anyone who wants a monitor i usually point them in acer's direction unless there is something better. and dont ask me why i love the Microsoft intelli mouses. I have the one and its been through **** and back and it doesn't miss a click.
