| Final Specs before BUYING sunday.... Buying the parts & building on Sunday/Monday. Here's the list, opinions, thoughts, changes, all welcome and appreciated. As well as a few questions at the bottom.
-Samsung DVDRW
-Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R
-E6750 2.66Ghz 4MB 1333FSB
-XFX 8800GTS 320MB GRAW bundle HDCP
-Mushkin HP2-6400 2x1GB CAS 4-5-4-11
-Corsair HX 620W
-Seagate 7200rpm 320GB
-CoolerMaster Centurion 5
-Samsung 22" 226BW
Final Cost: $1675 WITH TAX.
Couple Questions...
1) Will the case I have chosen fit all the parts without modding the case?
2) The RAM I have chosen states it runs at 2.1-2.2V, and I've heard that the mobo I have chosen defaults at 1.8V default and wont run the RAM I have chosen or something like that...someone explain this situation to me?
3) And of coarse overall opinions on my build?

| Re: Final Specs before BUYING sunday.... a1: Case will fit parts.
a2: Ram will work on that mobo. Some intel mobos needs JEDEC ram.
a3: build is great

A2: RAM, it'll work with the motherboard. Where are you ordering these sticks from?
A3: It's great for gaming and daily computing. |

| Re: Final Specs before BUYING sunday.... Crucial seem overpriced in Canada unless you can suggest somewhere?
I figured for a 8800gts 320mb...quad core is at a different level, and it would seem more logical for me to upgrade the CPU and GPU at the same time in a few years.
Does this mobo need the "JEDEC" type ram?
I'm locally picking up the ram at CanadaComputers.com

| Re: Final Specs before BUYING sunday.... No, that motherboard can handle regular ram, none of that JEDEC ram.

Great build, ram will work and the 8800gts should fit in the case.
