Default dual corre vs quad core

im just interested because of the massive price reduction that what will be better the
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 or the
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

but if i were to get a new cpu now i would get the quad core just because its got more cores but saying that the duo is more powerfull each core

Default Re: dual corre vs quad core

Get the Q6600 over the E6850, because they are around the same price range...and for that, you get 2 more cores, over the the E6850.
