Default drive letters

I just reinstalled windows, and when i did so i had 4 hds in the computer. All worked out good. When i got into windows, the drive i had windows installed onto is now D drive, and one of my data hd's is C. Does this alter anything? and can i just use lke partition magic to change it?

thanks, taintedplay

I dual boot (actually tri boot but the other one isn't windows so it doesn't show) and in Vista the windows drive is C: and in XP the windows drive is D:. Everything works fine for me and I also changed my default program drive to E. Everything should be fine, but it probably wouldn't be hard to change.

I presume you get the dual windows logon after post? If it is loading your OS........leave it alone! You can determine which HD and OS you want your bios to default to in Hard Disk boot priority if you want that OS to default load which I am assuming is not the case.
