Question Check my gaming build please

Hi. I'm kinda new to this so wanted to make sure I'm not making any big mistakes. If you guys could just check through my build, thanks!

620W Coolermaster Real Power M620 Modular PSU SLi, PCI-E, SATA, 80%+ Eff' ATX 12V V2.3 EPS 12V V2.91
£74.95 Inc VAT

640 GB Western Digital WD6400AAKS Caviar Blue, SATA 300, 7200 rpm, 16MB Cache, 8.9 ms £50.40 Inc VAT

1GB PowerColor HD4870, PCI-E 2.0(x16), 3600MHz GDDR5, GPU 750MHz, 800 Cores, 2x DL DVI-I/ HDTV, HDCP £211.44 Inc VAT

22" Asus VW222U, Black Widescreen, 2 ms, DVI/VGA, 1680x1050, 2000:1, Speakers £174.48 Inc VAT

Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5, Intel X58, Sok 1366, PCI-E 2.0, DDR3 1066/1600/2000, SATA II, ATX £227.48 Inc VAT

Intel i7 920, Socket 1366 (B), Nehalem, 2.66GHz, Cache 8MB, OEM
£259.87 Inc VAT

Logitech G9 Laser Gamers mouse £48.12 Inc VAT

Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard £52.82 Inc VAT

This brings me to a grand total of: £1108.83 Inc VAT

Will all of this work together?
Is there anything which is bad?
How quickly will the price of the i7 go down?
Any other comments/suggestions?

Thanks.

EDIT:

Changed GPU.
What RAM should I get?

EDIT:

Changed Hard Drive

you should grab a western digital 640gb
unless you are really concerned for our environment and wants to save money on on electricity bill

you don't really need a 4870x2 for 1680x1050 resolution
you could save some money with like a gtx 280 or hd 4870/gtx 260

I think you forgot ram

prices will probably drop Q1 of 09 when AMD's new proc comes out

That price isn't too bad considering you have the new i7s and a 4870 x2

but you forgot RAM which will be expensive since ddr3 isa biotch

If you bump the GPU down it would be a pretty decent price (especially after the rpice drop)

the o7 is pretty expensive. but thats probably the best price ull get without without gettin maybe a cheap msi x58. but for ur res u dont really need the 1gb version of the 4870, u could suffice with the 512mb if you wanted. also i didnt see any ram, make sure u get some triple channel corsair or gskill. the gskill nq's at 1.5v look to be really good, maybe consider those.

either grab the cheapest set
2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS3, DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600),240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-9-9-24, DHX - TW3X2G1600C9DHX
or grab
this set for their lower timings
2GB (2x1GB) SuperTalent TwinPack DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600MHz) 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 7-7-7-18 - W1600UX2G7

or grab this set for 4 gb
4GB (2x2GB) Super Talent DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600MHz), 240 Pin, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, CAS 7-7-7-21, Kit - W1600UX4G7

and after looking at those prices...
you can always go for some 1333MHz set and swap to 1600MHz ones after prices drop more
