Building this for a friend and he has a $500 limit (lending him a couple hundred). Anyone have comments or opinions on it?

Side note: This computer will be for Age of Conan

Never use a Case PSU unless you want a dead rig

and get the EP35-DS3L instead, its 20$ cheaper and more energy efficient

The only problem with that is his mobo is a combo deal. Meh, the p35-ds3l is a good enough board anyway, heck it's one of the better boards you can get.
However, vernong's right about the case PSU. Always buy your psu separate from the case, the PSU's that get bundled with cases are extremely *****.
try this psu, first one I came accross that looked half decent.
Or this one, looks a bit better.

Raidmax PSU's are on the avoid list, and I've never heard of the "hec" brand

I would get a Corsair 450vx psu.

Get an RP550V2 PSU for a cheap build...or even an Xclio Goodpower.
