I have this friend with a crappy integrated gfx dell P4 machine (did I mention it's only 64mb of internal gfx memory) and he goes off and buys Half Life 2. He needs a Graphics Card that will run Source well and I recommended this card to him as he only needs it for Half Life 2 and CS:S. That should work fine right?

You should be fine on medium settings or maybe even higher. HL2 isn't too graphically intensive.

he's not too bright in computer ways...well I guess in many ways. I figured it might be ok since if you have Ok integrated gfx you can play HL2 on high to medium settings. Just double checking. Thanks guys.


Edit: The PSU that came with the dell should be able to handle it right? Because my friend is on an extremely tight budget.

i played CS:S on an mx4000 and it ran fine so that should work great
