Default Budget Gaming PC Switch

I am thinking of buying a new pc and thus switching from Intel to AMD. Im trying to stay around $700 (R5250) so any alternatives would be appreciated.
I did some research and i'm considering the following

AMD AthlonX2 6000+ AM2 - CPU - $229.60 (R1722)
ASUS M2R32-MVP - Motherboard - $173.20 (R1299)
OCZ DDR2-800 2GB (2x1GB) Platinum Kit r.2 - RAM - $207.87 (R1559)
Raidmax Smilodon - Case - $113.20 (R849)
CoolerMaster eXtreme 550W - PSU - $77.87 (R584)
ASUS Silent Knight - CPU Fan - $69.20 (R519)

I'm currently running with the following

P4 LGA775 3GHz (524)
Zalmann Orb
Sapphire Pure Crossfire II
1GB Kingmax DDR-400 (2x512MB)
ATI Radeon X1900GT 256MB

(I know the prices are probably very high, but that's about the prices we pay locally. We also don't have such a wide variety so i did check some online stores but can't find many that's competitively priced and ships internationally.)

I would recommend that you go for Intel's Core 2 CPU....

Ok, i can get the E6550 for about $226.53 (R1669) but i don't really know which motherboard to go for. The Motherboard should just be able to handle my X1900GT.
