I'd ditch the AF 7 Pro and go for this Noctua NH-U12F (Socket LGA775/754/939/940/AM2) Heatsink

BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail
Only has a slight overclock of 25MHz on the core, but it's much cheaper.

You could also look into this, if he can wait for it to re-stock:

thats not a normal but they usually come around the same price as normal ones ne way. since bfg dont make a non oc version. and they *** with awesome stikers and free tshirt(which has now been replaced with sum gay internet start stop switch which i found out the hard way;@)

the bfg card is a good choice...it's got a lifetime warranty.
