Maximuss2072 is on a distinguished road

Default board help??

i have a msi p35 neo dont ask me the precise board name cause i forgot lol:laughing:
so umm question it says my board supports ddr2 800 and 667?
but someone else told me that i can flash my board to support 1066??
is this true or does he need to get shot

That could be true. But getting a high performance kit of DDR2-800, can easily overclock to 1066 speeds and over.

It could very well be possilbe that there is a newer version of your bios that supports 1066 RAM. If your computer was a name brand manufacturer (Dell, HP, etc.) then check their websites for the WinPhlash utility and the updated bios version. If your machine was a custom build, then search your motherboard provider for the updated bios version.
