hrm... just noticed your from cali green radience.. .irvine at that, i'm not too far from there... anywho... where did you see it lowered fps???

well of course they won't improve 3d scores.... they don't utilize the physx card.. but i bet you 3dmark07 (if they make it) will, and you'll probably see a huge difference.

and to green radience, i live in bellflower, pretty much a small town found somewhere near long beach inbetween cerritos and lakewood...

Ah, not far at all then.

I still have hope for PhysX cards, but only if the entire software physics setup runs on the PhysX card. Not like GRAW where they just added some last minute debris and offloaded it to the PPU. All they did was give the GPU more to render, decreasing the FPS. They say a PPU is supposed to free up your CPU. Well...who said that the CPU needs to be freed at all?

just play the game at 800x600, that'll solve all the problems!! hahaha
