Do you guys have any input on it or anything you might see wrong with it? It supports PCIe, core2duo, 4 memory slots, pretty much everything I could think of. Even comes with a pretty nice Pentium D which I'd prolly keep in there.
I don't have a lot of $$ to spend so this does look good to me. I figure if I get some extra $$ later its always upgradeable to even quad core so it's pretty good future-wise as well.
Would that build be possible with an equally priced core2 supporting board?
i dont think so.
that build listed above is the fastest rig you can build for that much money.
everyone has their opinions on RAM and gpu...but i think we all agree that the x2 3600 and t550 is the way to go if you want cheap/versatile/FAST for the dough.
