| Re: anyone heard of this brand? cool. thanks. and also, what about SSD, what are the benefits of putting your OS on a SSD and having a separate drive for data? is it just faster boot up and shut down times?
And just curious, why would you go with the OCZ rather then the one i posted? is that because of quality? because doesnt timing make a big difference?

| Re: anyone heard of this brand? Well, the timings on the GeIL are lower because it's a lower frequency, 1333.
SSDs are really nice for OS installs, but they are still pretty expensive.

| Re: anyone heard of this brand? The load times for installing is a bit lower (assuming you have a good SSD), also your read/write times might be a lower too and boot up is lower too (along with game loading times)
But personally, I'd rather RAID0 or RAID5 a few cheap drives unless the SSD's got really really cheap |
