Default About the Core 2 Duo 4000 series

Will there be a Core 2 Extreme X4800, cuz I heard from this CompUSA idiot there is one coming out, but since he is an idiot, i don't no whether to trust him.....

I haven't seen any announcements naming it. Since the 4000 series is targeted at the entry-level market, I doubt they'll have an "extreme" variant. Again, any claim not supported by an article/review/news release, is just hype.

No there is just supposed to be the E4300 and E4400 and thats it I believe.

ya thats what i told him, e4000 series is targeted at the entry-level market so theres no extreme, plus not many ppl can afford it so its pointless........... Sad but true fact, some of the world's biggest PC idiots work at PC stores.................
