6800GT or 7800GT with SLI MOBO?

Evga has a deal for a free sli mobo if you buy a 7800gt, and since the 7800 is only $100 different then the 6800 I was thinking it was a better buy.

what do you think?

The 7800 GTX didn't impress many people as much as it should have, and the 7800 GT has a slower core clock. I have no personal experience with it, but most people thought it wasn't worth the money. Your call.

the mobo thats comes with it is and eVGA Nforce 4 SLI mobo?? Never heard of it, but kinda resembles a DFI lanparty with a few thing missing and a LED display added.

How much is it costing for the whole package (6800 GT/7800 GT & mobo)?

7800gt the one hes looking at with the mobo is 450, but there are cheaper ones for 400.

6800gts are now in the 290- 300 range if hes looking at a PCI express card.

But yeah, i was in the same situation as you no_Wedge, I decided to go with the 7800GT, Hopefully i made the right choice. Will found out when it gets here tuesday

As long as newegg doesnt F up again.
