ordered everything.. total ~630
should i buy some thermalpaste or will i be fine with just what it comes with?

the stock heatsink comes with pre-applied thermal paste. if you're gonna keep the cpu at stock or slightly OCed speeds, then it should be fine. any serious OCing will require you getting a better cpu cooler, which are about $20-$40.

Windows 7 Release Candidate

download the 64-bit version of windows 7 RC, which is free until 2010.

you have to burn the iso file onto a dvd, and then you can boot from it to install it

No, it's got a 20+4 pin adapter. It kinda clips on to the main one, you'll see when you get the PSU.
