Everything looks great to me. The dominators are a little bit faster with cas7 versus cas8 on the golds. If you get the platinum's from ocz you will have the same speed for less money. For most users the golds are plenty fast.

You really wont notice a speed difference with latency timings. Get the Golds. Othewise everything else looks great.

/agree with OS choice...don't get an upgrade disc because every time you format you will have to install vista again to upgrade

Everything looks good except for:
PSU: Go with the Antec TruePower New TP-750 750W
GPU: Save yourself some money and get a better card at the same time. XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770
HDD: A tad more money, but definitely worth it.

I would go with the corsair over the Antec (I have a 750tx and a 550 truepower) any day of the week and twice on Sunday. They are both nice but the Corsair is better IMO.

The 5770 is a nice suggestion unless you are partial to Nvidia cards.

Any particular reason you went for the "retail" version of the OS? If no, then like how the others said, stick with the OEM full version.

it seems like it would be a good computer... especially with windows 7... i have windows 7 its is so good

instead of the 500 gb hard drive you may just want to a get 1 tb like this one
