Default $1,400 Gaming Rig w/pix

Case: Antec 1200
RAM: 8Gb (4*2) Corsair
CPU: AMD|PH II X4 965
MOBO: ASUS M4A78T-E AM3
HDD: 1TB Western Digital 7200RPM
PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-950TX 950W
GPU: 5870 (I'll buy it when it returns to the original price and is in stock.)
I also used a CD burner, and DVD reader from 2k4 (I'll buy a new one with the rebate cash when I buy the GPU)

Why didn't you go Intel, with a budget like that?

Thanks unfortunatly I don't have any benchmarks or anything due to its lack of graphics cardness. Does anybody know when the 5870s will be back, I read 2 weeks.

yes, where did you buy your parts from? for that much you could have gotten a i7 920, which smokes the PII 965. might want to consider sending the stuff back.
