I know nothing about LCD monitors except one thing. I want one. I'm sick of my p.o.s. CRT. so... think you guys can help me out?

most people like 8ms for gaming dont think u will find any 4 under $250

Haha, beat me to it. Yea, there are some decent 17" 8ms monitors out there.

some with less search 5ms and 4ms but that is not notacible to the human eye.
for under 300 and they are acer monitors.

whats the msrating thing? and no im not much of a gamer, i play diablo 2, half-life 2 if it will ever work for me and call of duty... thats all i play so the fancy gaming options arent really a priority
