XFX GeForce 7600 GT 256MB, with Celeron D 3.2

Well, i have a Celeron D 3.2, and im looking to upgrade my video card. this looks nice, but id like some opinions.
XFX GeForce 7600 GT XXX / 256MB GDDR3 /

is the 7600 worth the extra money than the 6600?
and how about the 100$ more for the 7900?

The 7900 is a much better card, but don't go with XFX. They tend to cut corners in the quality department, and several of our members have had a lot of problems with them.

eVGA (best quality, most people will agree, with a lifetime warranty), Leadtek, or BFG.

alright. so im looking at a eVGA Geforce 7600 GT 256MB for $174.99 and the eVGA Geforce 7900 GT 256MB for $289.99. so is it worth the extra 100$ for the 7900?

Just get a 7600GT to hold you off until G80 / R600.

well iv heard XFX is somewhat of a poor brand. im thinking of just going with the 7600, cause im a little short on cash of the moment. but if the 7900 is really worth the 100$ more, i supose i might as well get it. gah. i dont know.

Alright. this is what im thinking of getting.

eVGA 256-P2-N553-AX Geforce 7600GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail (169.99)

add 12.78 for shipping, and the total is 247.76
not bad. hopefully it will give me what im looking for. cons or pros anyone?
