OK i have just installed my wireless card and software. in the right hand corner my my desktop the icon says the connection is excellent but when i try and connect o the Internet is says the page cannot be display

Are you using a router? you might need to go into the settings and type in the user name and PW.

i have the sbc moden thing 2wire moden

The connection to the network is why it is giving excellent signal. on the modem/router, you will have to set it up to share the internet over the wireless. Also you will have to setup the computer to get the internet from the wireless. for the computer, use the connection wizard. for the modem/router, follow the instructions that came with it.

this computer used to work before i reformatted it. so what can i do
