Righty.

At the moment ive got a Foxconn 661 7MI motherboard, and my graphics card in NVIDIA GeForce FX5500. I THINK this is bad, but not entirely sure. My power supply as a max of 400w and i am wondering if the graphics card on this link is a sizable increase and will it work on my computer.

It should work ok. Your system is an old AGP setup so I don't think your going to notice a difference unless your using older games and programs.
