Im not too much of a computer guy but i used to be a little bit and a few years ago i bought a computer

P4 3.0 Ht Technology
1024 Ram
80 Gig HD
Some unichrome On-Board Video Card
(Now running Windows Vista Ultimate)

and recently i bought Windows Vista and after installing i realized some of the simplest things dont work on a pretty ok computer. For example counter strike which i used to play but since my computer kept crashing after starting i just kinda gave up. i think i wanna get back into gaming so what needs to be done

if you have pci-e, get this

unfortunately it uses the agp chipset

try looking for an x1650pro or a 7600gs. those are usually at about 80-90 bucks (newegg.com)
