Question What's better?

Hi all
I want to get a new computer (in the near future) and am starting to look at parts. I know many of you are against intel, but for now, I am looking at comparing Only Intel.
For a CPU, I was looking at either a p4 3.6GHz or a dual core. they are more or less the same price. which is better?
Thanks

what exactly are you trying to compair?

P4@3.6 to a P4@3.6/deul core??

if that's the case, go with the duel core...

Can you give us a logical reason why you only want to compare intel?

intel's dual core sucks cause it takes so much time to interact with each other, while the AMD X2 fixed that problem

If your using this computer for gaming multimedia stuff... then you should definatly just go with AMD, you dont even need to understand them, just use'm. You would be a fool not to go with AMD unless you do tones of Video editing like stated befor... thats one of the very few things intell is better for.
