Default What sockets are these?

hey, my friend has one of the following chips:

Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 640 (3.20GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache) with HT Technology

Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 630 (3GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache) with HT Technology

Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 521 (2.80GHz, 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 cache) with HT Technology

im wondering what socket type they are. im thinking 775, but im not sure.

Yep...those are socket 775.

hey what is the difference between those pentium 640, 630, 521, and i mean the numbers.

It looks like the lower the number, the slower the processor speed or how much cache it has.
