hello everybody!!
at the moment i should tell you what system i have:

Intel Pentium 2.66GHz processor
480MB RAM
40GB harddrive
cd burner
Microsoft Windows Home Edition 2002 with service pack 2
13" x 9.5" Monitor

it is my birthday next week and i have just seen the new target catalogue and was wondering if i should get this computer they have advertised....it is for me to have my own computer for uni, but i would like information on how much better it is than the computer i have now and whether it is worth buying...its features include:

it is an iCOM 3000i
Intel Celeron D 2.26GHz processor
512MB RAM
80GB harddrive
DVD +/- RW Drive(dvd burner)
All-in-one card reader
Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
17" CRT Monitor
Lexmark Z611 colour printer

i would like as many people to give as much feedback as possible...thanx heaps

take into account these things:
i cannot afford much
i am not after a wiz bang super system
i do not play online high power games
it is for me only
i do not want things second hand
and i am not interested in building a comp

looks like an upgrade to the monitor, give you last years operating system, double the memory, and toss in a printer for kicks, i.m.o., but really, if that is a steal pricewise, and its something you really want, jump on it. Your not getting much, but ****, its your birthday!
